Shoe brush, dual action
A two-sided shoe brush - the smaller brush is for applying shoe polish, the larger one for polishing.
TACCO Player insoles
The Player insoles were originally designed for sports, and since War is the greatest of all sports, we can recommend these for use with combat boots aswell.
Tallipoika leather grease, 500 ml, clear
A large half a litre bucket of leather grease, just as good as any fine brand, but without a fancy name and thus cheaper.
Ekol leather oil, 0,25l
Superb stuff for treating all kinds of leather (not suede), making it more water repellent, more flexible and on the whole better. Not recommended for anything with a membrane (e.g. Gore-Tex).
US B-3 bomber jacket, shearling, repro
A seriously warm leather jacket, reproduction of the wartime American model. Made famous during the war by general Patton, and much sought after by anyone who could afford one.
British RAF jacket, sheepskin, repro
A quality reproduction of the classic British WW2 leather flying jacket, model Irvin. Made of real sheepskin & fur.
USAF leather fur hat B3, brown, repro
The US Air Force fur hat from the Second World War has a timeless classic look which makes it wearable anywhere without making the wearer look like a military lunatic. Made of real animal pieces!
Särmä Common Jeans, blue
Our staff is usually fully clothed in Varusteleka, but there was one constant exception: they wear jeans, and we didn't have them. We fixed this fault by making Good Ol' Proper Jeans.
Bundesmarine pea coat, long, dark blue, surplus
Not quite a greatcoat but not as short as a traditional pea coat, this German navy coat is made of very nice woollen gabardine style fabric and is complete with a zip-on liner and brass anchor buttons. Nice enough to wear at formal occasions, but not at all a bad choice for regular use either, just don't wear cargo pants with it! Superbly proper quality for cheap.
We admit it - ordering Italian winter boots was a gamble, but so far it looks like it paid off! These "Piston" made boots are actually quite decent and brown in colour, which is rare. Most likely vintage manufacture, old but unworn. Being surplus, they offer quite a lot of bang for the buck.
These are likely not made for military use but may well have been in the inventory of the Italian army anyway because, you know, Italians. Made of quite nice brown leather with the shaft lined with real shearling. Half-zippered front, buckles on top. You can fold the mouth to display the fur to all passersby. The foot part is lined with standard fabric, but feels roomy enough for a double pair of socks. Glued sole, with fake stitching. For civilian manufacture boots these seem to be well made - and made in Italy too, not Far East.
No membranes whatsoever, if you absolutely need waterproof boots you can either grease these (we recommend doing it lightly when you get the boots) or wear waterproof liner socks. However being overall so nice looking, we would naturally recommend these mostly for casual use.
Sizes in standard EU/French sizes. Regular width last, and the shaft is not made for mega calves so if you usually have problems there, you will also experience them with these. The slimmer your legs are, the better these should fit. No insoles included!
Sadly we got a rather limited size range.
In unissued, unworn condition but might have various small storage scuffs. Judging from the warehouse odour, these are more than just a few years old (it will vanish in time). We recommend cleaning and lightly greasing them before use.
