Italian nutcracker, surplus
No ballet advertisements here! Along the mandatory espresso cups and different dessert spoons, the Italian soldier also carries this handy nutcracker in his combat equipment.
Life in the field is harsh and the kit used there must be tough as nails. This nutcracker is made of just two metal pieces and seems pretty damn solid, which can't be said about the Italian army equipment in general.
Length 15 cm.
Old, used, intact. The example pictured was made back in 1954. Maybe this was the only item the Italians managed to make indestructible?
