there are two big downsides. I am not a fan of the HSGI clips. They hold the gear in place, however removing it is a massive PITA. While removing it, I managed to cut one of the clips away, and had to then zip-tie it to the molle chest rig later. An additional clip would solve the situation temporarily, however if there were some webbing as a backup instead, I would be a lot happier. If weight is an issue, you can use the Helium Whisper system, or make some in-house solution like Baribal or Sarma. Please no more old-school Blackhawk style webbing. If you do not want to use the webbing, simply cut it away and use the clips included.
Second, and this is seriously pissing me off - the magnets were somewhat weak when it arrived, but worked. Now, after approx 3 months later, the magnetic closure stopped working. I do not know the cause, I wasnt using this gear hardcore, nor subjecting it to Curies temperature. This is a fatal flaw - spend your hard earned eurobux somewhere else.
