Special rifle threat protection

The U210 is neither a level III or IV plate but a so-called Special Rifle Threat Plate designed to protect against lighter rifle caliber rounds. It has been tested to stop several AR-15 and AKM light armor-penetrating rounds - which would punch through NIJ III plates - but not the M80 ball.

U210 has been tested and protects against the following rounds and hit counts:

* 1 hit for size Small, 3 for other sizes.

Comfortable shooter cut and multi curved shape

The U210 plates are available in Shooter’s Cut designed for dynamic shooters. It allows better arm movement and weapon shouldering. The Large size fits the most common S/M/L plate carriers.
