Hazard 4 Plan B 17, black
Like half a backpack, yet more versatile than your usual shoulder bag. Smarter pocket arrangement and comfort of wearing sets this apart from competing designs.
Some backpacks look big but their capacity is divided into lots of pouches. Not this one: the main compartment is huge for large items, and organization features are flat to keep overall size in check.
The Hazard 4 Officer is handy for someone who wants to pack something like a suitcase, but carry it comfortably on their back and access small items and a 15" laptop on the spot to work on complex things. If you like to fly with carry-on luggage only, this is a good choice. 3D mesh polymer padding is comfortable and breathable.
Compartments and details
The main compartment opens up as a lid so packing and unpacking is easy. The shape is more rectangular than a regular backpack to allow more volume without increasing overall bulk. The insides are fuzzy lined for dividers or whatever. If you're sad it's uplifting to touch.
The outer compartment has tons of small slash pockets, pouches and a plastic window along with straps to keep it opening past 90 degrees. If you throw one shoulder strap behind your neck it's a semi-comfortable working platform in front of your chest.
The sides and back have PALS-like webbing and double-sized "mega-MOLLE" that is backward compartible with US keepers (as seen in ALICE belts and some pistol belts before). It's nice to see modern packs that allow you to keep using ancient solutions.
A padded 15" laptop sleeve with soft lining is found closest to your back where it's safe but also easily accessible. The top has an access hole and hanger for a hydration bladder and tube. The top of the pack has a trap door and zipper to allow things to come through, although if you keep a bladder in the laptop compartment you can simply leave the tube between the zipper sliders.
Stabilizers are found at the waist and chest, of which the latter is removable. All compression straps and other loose ends have velcro finishers to keep them from dangling around.
