Särmä Zip-off trousers
These are lightweight trousers with a zip-off feature for intermediate weather such as British summer. We're not talking about sweatbags, yet these repel some water and wind. Photographers and drone-enthusiasts rejoice! If you've found working on the move cumbersome, this sling pack might very well help you reach and grab for your gear when you need it, but carry it comfortably when you don't.
Tubular bags with one sling have gone the usual route from special operator use to movies with big robots to street use by military fashionistas. The original idea of this type of bag is to pack a bit of rations, water, magazines, utility and medical supplies in a package you can drag from a vehicle with you in case of a quick dismount.
You can pull out a camera or whatever it is you're carrying much faster than from a backpack, but these are significantly larger than fanny packs.
As the name implies, this bag was designed with the needs of photographers in mind. The bag can be rotated to the front without raising the whole thing over your shoulder. Once in front, the side of the bag opens up and you get into the main compartment, which has three dividers to suit your needs.
