A German made tunic used by the Finnish firemen. Most-very-fockin'-likely wartime manufacture with Wehrmacht size markings and everything, along with SA-Int stamps on the other side.

To the best of our knowledge the Finns ordered black-ish tunics for firemen before/around the war years. Unfortunately we couldn't find any clear dates, but there are a number of stamps, Wehrmacht size notation and Finnish army SA-Int property marks, along with Finn size 48 B, which basically means Small. Measured chest circumference of the garment itself is 100 cm, waist circumference 92 cm, sleeve length from the shoulder seam 61 cm.

Condition

In nice clean shape. Clearly seen some service, but there's nothing really wrong with it, just some wear on the collar area, removed cuff buttons (with the split just sewn shut) and removed first aid pocket button. This seems to be some official Finnish modification.

Availability

We got just a handful of these, and will sell a couple of them.

Army surplus

Military equipment is traditionally excellent stuff; it combines durability with very affordable prices. Army surplus finds its way to the civilian market in the following way: the armed forces of one country or other decides to get rid of big batches of perfectly serviceable gear due to cuts in military budgets, said gear becoming obsolete or redundant or some other similar reason. Some of this stuff then finds its way to our storehouse, sometimes directly, sometimes through a third party. Every once in a while we even get random batches of collectibles and rarities from obscure corners of the world.
