Wästikivi Eräkivi whetstone

12.99 USD

A rough translation of "Eräkivi" would be "wilderness stone", and that's exactly what this is - sized for easy carry, this little buddy is always ready to keep your blades in shape out in the wilderness. Size 120 x 30 x 10 mm. Made from natural Finnish phyllite, the same stuff that our ancestors used since they first invented a knife that needed maintenance. Naturally due to the natural nature of the stone these don't follow any man made grit values, but that doesn't really matter since each and every Wästikivi will surely keep your blade sharp!

Gerber Paraframe Mini Tanto

Gerber Paraframe Mini Tanto

A handy little folding knife for everyday carry. Small and lightweight, fits on a belt with its clip. A decent quality piece that fulfulls its task reliably.

Everyday carry knives are often very small. The Edict is lightweight and shaped to be carrying-friendly, but retains the size of a proper knife.

It's easy to forget you're carrying this knife, even though it doesn't quite "disappear" on you like really small ones do, but once deployed you won't be left short by the Edict.

No complaints so far. The grip is very light but it's comfortable to hold and seems sturdy enough. The grooves for the pointer finger and thumb are great.
Opening the knife requires a decent amount of force and it locks with a satisfying click. Closing the knife is easy and the action is strong.
Not sure how well the knife will hold up in heavy use yet but so far so good.
