Finnish M36 greatcoat, post-war, surplus
Surprisingly for post-war army kit, this greatcoat is something not usually encountered even here in Finland. This 50's-60's production is exactly like the wartime M36 model apart from the shortened hem and usually gray plastic buttons. One-off lot from our pile of movie wardrobe stuff, we (or anyone else?) will not sell these ever again when these are gone.
Soviet 152 mm howitzer shell
A 152 mm brass howitzer shell of Soviet origin - could be shot off by any army! We got this from Finland and with the manufacturing date of 1941 this could well be used in our little wars. One-off piece!
Czech M32 steel helmet
A Czech M32 helmet apparently made mack in 1936, in very nice condition apart from the missing chinstrap. One-off piece! These were used extensively by Germany and her allies, Finns included.
BW field shirt, Flecktarn, surplus
An excellent German Bundeswehr issue summer shirt for a few bucks. We used to sell these for 1 EUR, but our supplier saw high demand and upped the prices. This is still a damn good deal!
Särmä merino gloves
Good quality made-in-Finland knit gloves from super-duper material. Good as they are for a bit chilly conditions, for serious cold these do well as insulating layer for hard shell gloves. How can they make these so cheap in Finland?
Särmä Commando cap, merino wool, camo
The Finnish army "commando cap" is far more than just any woolly watch cap, it's something of a Finnish military tradition and very functional too, the double layered constrution giving it added warmth and insulation.
Särmä TST M05 cold weather parka
Our own, improved version of the Finnish military issue M05 cold weather parka. Our enhanced version features two large, flat sleeve pockets velcro-adjustable cuffs, velcro for patches and best of all: far superior materials. MILSPEC, just a bit better!
A true classic from ages past, the model 1922/1936 greatcoat had its moment of glory during the Winter and Continuation War. Differs from the M36 by the colour of the collar. Real deal piece, made of very thick wool, with a heavy lining fabric. One-off piece!
A Greatcoat in the true sense of the word, this is a formidable piece of Finnish military history. One can only marvel at the workmanship and quality not found anymore. Many of these were made by tailors for certain individuals, as was this one.
The size is about Euro 44 (as marked), or X-Small: actual measured chest circrumference about 92 cm, waist 86 cm, sleeve length from shoulder seam 60 cm. By taking into the account the proper fit of this type of garment, we could say this one is made for a small gentleman who's about 165 cm tall and has a chest circumference of 82-86 cm and a normal build.
In very good shape for its age; there's almost no moth nips at all, just some little wear on the buttonholes. All in all a superb specimen! You could wear this out in the town, it's that nice.
