Finnish M05 water bottle pouch
For the first time in the history of the Finnish army, the soldiers are actually issued a dedicated pouch for the water bottle. Takes the 1 quart US type canteen along with the more rectangular Finnish model.
A sturdy platform for anything that needs to be used quickly, like a dump pouch. Part of the new Finnish army M05 system.
Recce-Trick: recon servicemen who are issued the new M05 combat equipment are a bit fucked these days. The older M85 magazine pouch could be attached to the LJK rucksacks waist belt, but the new M05 system offers no such luxuries. Therefore this drop leg platform is used by some to create a simple chest rig, by attaching a general purpose pouch and a magazine pouch!
This is a well padded, durable leg rig with belt attachment and a horizontal leg strap. The backside has a rubber anti-slip pad. Can be quickly donned and doffed with QR buckles.
Made of military grade cordura. The quality is excellent overall, as should be expected.
