NVA wool neck tube, grey, surplus
An essential bit of winter kit: the headover or toque. The German armed forces have used this for ages. This tube-like piece of cloth was originally a Wehrmacht issue item: go ahead and look at any old photos from the eastern front and you'll see the popularity.
BW Windstopper watch cap, surplus
The Germans decided to make their black winter woolly hats properly; these have a Windstopper-liner to give extra protection. Used Bundeswehr surplus.
British CS95 Windproof Smock, MTP, surplus
One of the best field jackets ever made, the British Windproof Smock is famous for its versatility and thoroughly great design. A perfect jacket for round-the-year use. These are early Multi Terrain Pattern smocks, the cut is the old CS95 style, but with the new camo print.
Särmä TST L1 T-shirt, merino wool
A purely functional merino wool T-shirt for active wear, made from merino wool, simply the best material you can wear next to the skin. Snug active fit, raglan sleeves and flatlock seams guarantee minimum chafe and maximum comfort, making this a damn good base layer for active, demanding use.
Särmä Windproof Smock
Our take on the classic British Windproof Smock with improvements and civilian-friendly colours. If you're tired of sweating in 'tex clothing but want some protection from showers, you'd do well to give this a try.
Särmä TST M05 name tag w/ custom text, 3 pcs
Velcro name tags made according to Finnish military specs, not the cheap printed type issued to conscripts but real nice embroidered ones. Perfect for Finnish M91 and M05 jackets, or any other piece of clothing or gear with a little velcro on it. Available in three colours: black on green, yellow on black and black on gray reflector backing. The price is for three patches!
SealSkinz Hiking Mid Mid Socks
Like with any part of clothing, it's only sensible to separate different layers for footwear too. These offer the waterproof, breathable membrane in sock form. In short, with SealSkinz socks you can turn any ol' boot or piss skater into waterproof footwear. Properly made, well tested, tried and true, SealSkinz is a brand you can trust!
Well here's a complete package to cover your upper body be it winter, summer or fall. The Dutch Multicam parka is a modular solution with detachable membrane and pile liners. The parka itself was actually a special batch made by STURM for Dutch special forces serving in Africa (better than usual STURM quality), and the rest is proper army contractor manufactured stuff.
A modular parka is a great idea - it's basically the only coat you need, no matter the season or weather. While removing and attaching the liners is a bit of a chore if done often enough, one can simply opt to leave them unbuttoned. When buttoned on, they form a nice solid package which is superb for casual use.
The outer shell
A traditional parka coat with a nice amount of pockets. Adjustable from hem, waist and cuffs. Made of summerweight ripstop polycotton fabric, not unlike the fabric used on classic ripstop BDU-trousers.
The waterproof liner
A simple layer of breathable membrane to bring water resistance and wind protection to some degree.
Thick polyester fur liner with cotton sleeves for ease of movement.
Sizes simply in the Euro system, which means user's recommended chest circumference in centimetres, seen in the brackets along with height recommendations. The height sizes are our estimates.
Our model in the pictures is about two metres tall and the parka is still OK!
Most looked like they've never been used. There might be an occasional used jacket there too, but overall these (including the liners) seemed to be in super mega good shape.
