Hey all single mattress sleepers! Here's a cheap mostly-linen bedsheet in greenish hues, real deal East Bloc material. Linen costs a small fortune these days, save a buck and get this instead. Also, if you're into gambling, read more.

Linen is superb stuff for bedding material; it's tough, practically iron-free and only gets better in use - it wrinkles and wrinkles until it can't wrinkle anymore. It can be washed in 60 degrees Celsius to get rid of humanly stains. These sheets might also contain a percentage of cotton, we don't know for sure. They really had it good in the Czechoslovakian army!

The colour shades vary, but all are sort of turquoise-greenish-bluish. Look at the photos if you don't believe us. If you order more than one, be prepared to get different shades, as we will not pick matching ones - we probably even can't, since it's very difficult to find two identical ones.

Measures about 220 x 120 cm (varies a bit to both ways, of course), so these should maybe about just fit most single mattresses, and if you sew two togehter, you'll get a nice duvet cover too. These have been washed a number of times, and shrunken and stretched out again and whatnot, so there are no two alike.

Czechoslovakian surplus

Used surplus. Some are even patched up, all probably washed, but it would be a bit weird not to wash these before use. If you can get over the colour or even like it, and our sales pitch did its job, get a bunch and hope for the best!

Pro tip: Being made of natural fibres, these might even soak up fabric dyes. Alternatively they may even be bleached white. No guarantees about the results, we haven't tried!

Pro tip 2: These are essentially sheets of pretty nice summery fabric. You can make stuff out of fabric.

Of the 4 I've ordered all 4 have numerous repairs to the fabric. You could probably cut the fabric up for footwraps or for making small textile projects out of.

While I only bought one, mine had no notable wear on the fabric. The fabric is nice and comfortable making a small but worthwhile investment
