Czech Y-straps, leather, surplus

Price 19.99 USD excluding sales tax

Old Czechoslovakian leather Y-straps, essentially a copy of the Wehrmacht issue item with minor modifications. Will work with the Czech "retro backpack", you know, the cheap brown cotton/linen sack... which is also copied from the German item. Apparently, the Czech liked to flip off to the Soviet Overlords right from the start of the Post War era.

"One size fits all", front hooks attach to ammo pouches, the extra straps are for the rucksack, the back hook attached to the belt. All in all, a pretty crappy combat webbing style where the pouches usually sail around and need constant readjustment. However, it does teach discipline, which would undoubtedly benefit the kids today.

Made of thick brown leather, which would be wise to grease before use.

Condition

Used, decades old, still intact and perfectly usable.

I attached this to my toolbelt for work, no more having my belt so tight that my eyes bulge. The straps allow me to wear my belt with great comfort, and can still attach extras if needed; I wish that I had purchased two of them.
