CCCP enamel mug, surplus
A classic enamel cup - these are extremely robust Soviet army stuff. Although bombproof, these do have that good ol' Soviet feel to them, with a slightly crappy paint job and factory dirt of course.
An enamel cup has been a vital part of a soldier's kit in times past. Of course in Soviet Union these were probably just recently relieved from service and that's very likely where these are from too.
Volume 3 dl, made of quite thick enameled steel with some tolerances on the enameling & paint job. From the inside these looked pretty good, but you can expect some steel showing through from the brim and outside. Two different main colours; white and green. Pick your favourite. We also get these in other colours, these are sold as "Random colour". If you like adventure, that's gotta be your choice.
We have no idea when these were made, but they are definitely Russian, as is evident from the stamps in the bottom. These have probably been stored in a pool of mud, as they are quite dirty - wash before use and use responsibly.

they both came in pretty good condition, a bit grubby, but they clean up well. I ended up soldering up the hole in the handle of the white mug as i can imagine having water in such a flimsy handle will rust it off after some time.
i tell you right now, i adore the style of them, and i would have a cupboard full if them if they were a bit cheaper, but still, a good buy
