BW Leather Sneakers with Velcro Closure, surplus

If sneakers with velcro are already a bit ironic, the German military designmeister has surely made them even more horrible and issued them to navy personnel, probably just out of spite. Pitch black leather without any eyesore logos, so also ideal for all gloomin’ trolls out there.

Features

These aren’t those ultralight high-tech sneakers, military stuff never is. They have an ergonomic flat sole with a pretty grippy pattern, and they are also cushioned to some extent. Additionally, they do feature the German ventilation system, which is at least better than nothing. Nevertheless, they are good quality shoes as long as you get over the looks. We have a saying in Finland that only ugly people need to wear pretty clothes. And we are all so pretty that we don’t need to go down that road.

The sizes are in the Mondopoint system, with recommended foot length in millimeters. The comparable EU/French size is in brackets.

Condition

Used German military surplus but in very good condition. Some are so suspiciously awesome that they probably never got out of the locker. Because these have primarily been used on ships, the soles are usually in very good condition. Some even appear unused. Even the Velcro makes that nice sharp sound that you can trust.
