Consists of three parts; the lid, middle compartment, and the bottom part. The lid and middle piece link together with the handle of the lid. The large pot has stoppers on the base of the wire handle to prevent dangling around. There's also a tunnel and a groove to run a utility strap through. This way you can both secure the kit from unlikely but possible accidental opening and attach it to your gear. Painted green on the outside. All in all a basic model, very practical.

Weight about 500 grams (1.1 lbs.). Outside dimensions about 17 x 18 x 11,5 cm (6.7" x 7" x 4.5").

It's a mess tin, so it still does what it was designed to do, except this must be the most poorly made one I have ever bought.
None of the three pieces fit together well at all. It's like they forgot to measure. If I somehow manage to get them together and close it up, it takes INCREDIBLE strength to even pull them apart again. There is overspray all over the inside, I mean it didn't hurt with Romanian tin, but this one is a mess.
Stays true to the "Made in China", they clearly selected the lowest bidder.

The wire on top WILL tip the kit and spill food/water over the fire/stove.
The green paint is also on the inside and will flake off in heat.
There is play in the top hinge, and if I don't keep the set closed with a strap it will open up.
Only reason to buy this is if you don't like surplus.

Perushyvä pakki. Maalit läks kyllä heti ekalla nuotiolla pohjasta että heilahti, mutta tulipahan patinoitua hätsynpikaa. Jos niinku jotaki miinuksia tarttis aatella. Ja kiinnitysmekanismia piti hiukan säätää ennen ku alko toimiin. Oli aivan helv... piukas paketti ku laitto kii, täyty kammeta auki. Mutta kun pohjas olevasta "lukituspättärästä" vähä kulutti maalia pois, niin alkohan se toimiin kunnolla. Lukituskahvaa väännellen vois olla äkkiä että menee pieleen homma/säätämiseksi.

Mulla on käytössä aito Sakemanni pakki. Monin tavoin loistava pakki, kolme astiaa antaa monia mahdollisuuksia käyttää. Kinuski pakki varmaan ajaa asiansa samalla tavalla joskaan ei yhtä laadukkaasti. Tähdet on aidolle pakille.

No huh huh olipa kyllä pettymys. Oma intissä käyttämä vuoden '63 pakki toimi kymmenen kertaa paremmin kuin tämä kapistus.

Pakin kannen kahva on naurettavan löysä, turha kuvitellakaan että koottuna osat pysyvät yhdessä. Pohjan ja kahvan väliin jää reilusti tilaa.

Varsinaisen pakin roikotuskahva taas on muotoiltu jollain ihmeellä myös huonosti. Tämä on onnistuttu taittelemaan outoo kulmaan niin että jää toiselta puolelta 2 cm pidemmäksi kuin toiselta.

Enpä kyllä osannut aavistaa, että näinkin huonosti on mahdollista mitata osat. Mikä ilo on pakista kun se ei edes pysy kiinni? Epäilen että nuotion päälläkin saisi pelätä milloin keitot tippuvat tuleen. Olisi varmaan taas pitänyt itse huomata valmistusmaa Kiina. Uskoisi 20 eurolla sentään osiltaan sopivan metalliastian saavan, voisi ehkä nämäkin liikkeessä nopeasti vilkaista ettei tulisi turhia palautuksia.

Erm, yes, the big 'latch' that is supposed to keep everything together is actually not very capable of holding everything together and the carrying wire does take some getting used to (getting familiar with the 3 positions). But other than that; no issues for me, no paint on the inside, no flaking paint (although it's been only in a fire for a short time) and it does fit together nicely. You _can_ wedge the inner container in the bigger a little tilted and then you have to apply some force to separate the two again.

I used it 4 times to boil water to make pasta/tea and after the 4th time I noticed about a dozen or so little holes forming on the inside which resemble sort of a worm-eaten apple. If I used it again, it would probably start spouting water like a watering can. I probably have Alzheimer’s now from all the aluminium I’ve ingested without knowing. Save your money, get the real deal.
