Bundesmarine Sailor Shirt, Surplus

The real deal (West-)German navy shirts. Super-durable to withstand rigorous masculine action. Does not stretch, does not forgive.

These sailor shirts are made from very densely woven polyester-cotton and stretch about as much as a Jiu-Jitsu Gi. This is deliberate to keep shirts from ripping when sailors gather each night to wrestle to settle the sleeping positions: who will be on top, who will be the bottom. The customary honor code obliges you to let the older seaman win, even if you have the strength of youth in you. To further eliminate weak points, the shirt has no buttons.

Size info

Sizes in the German system: user's height and chest circumference. The cut is very form-fitting, as it should be. If you're not limber enough to don the shirt, you don't deserve to wear it!

Very occasionally, we get these in female-specific sizes. A sailor is a sailor. These are made according to the European Women's size system.

These have seen use but also have been washed carefully. Sailors are filthy creatures but their clothes are maintained with great diligence.
