Breeches, dark gray, used
Proper dark gray breeches, Finnish ca. 80's manufacture! Made of coarse strong wool.
Finns have a long tradition of using breeches, these were the defacto men's wear during the war years and after that too. In the countryside they wore these to the 70's at least, and gypises even longer! Nowadays quite rare, a pair of breeches makes a lasting impression to anyone you meet.
These are very traditional style and although "modern", fit right in to the WW2 era. These have buttons for braces, belt loops and a fancy corduroy-decorated back pocket. The fabric is coarse thick wool blend, a blend of wool and polyester.
You can probably machine wash these in 30 degrees Celsius, with wool cycle. Use of wool care products recommended but not necessary. Air dry only, do not use a dryer. Best option is not to wash these at all. If they smell like a dead animal, you have acquired an unprecented level of historical correctness.
Measured waist 88 cm(*), leg inseam 72 cm. These would about correspond to EU size 48-50, and best worn by a 170-176 cm tall person.
*) These appear to have been tailored to a bit slimmer fit, but the excess fabric has been left in its place. By doing some tailoring of your own you could widen these to fit about 92 cm waist, at least.
In good presentable shape!
