Oh no! Do I die if I have just a few layers!

Layering your clothing is generally a pretty good idea, however you don't have to overdo it. For example, in everyday comings and goings you'll be well off with just a few thicker garments that are easy to put on and take off and when the day ends you'll be at the comforts of home anyway.

When we venture off for a longer perioid of time, you should thoroughly consider what to wear in different situations and do remember to protect your little appendages too. Layer that stuff!

In any case starting from the bottom with Merino wool or other moisture wicking materials is a great start for staying comfortable in miserable conditions.
